The couch or the world

The most popular thing to suggest to me on this site has been; If you labelled your photos I would know where they were taken. Some have suggested that if they knew where the photos were taken they could go there. These are natural questions. I will do my best to explain why.

This website is about people retapping their adventurous side. The part that loves mystery and invigoration. The part that loves textures, spices, nature, stories, human intracacies, histories, richness of life and destinations.

If you decide to read the mission statement that I wrote for my big trip. The one where I tried to get around the world without flying. You will find this; “I do not feel qualified to choose where it is that I want to go. Where people decide to travel is too dependent on the perspectives of others, too frequently by a biased media. I want to live my own adventure... ”

Adventure is very different for everyone. For some going canoeing on a calm lake is adventure, while for others they need to be on the side of a mountain in bad weather. What do you want to do with your day? Are you inspired to experience what life has offered you?

The reason I don't always say where my photos are taken is so you can live the experience of going somewhere that still holds mystery and inspires you.

However, I am not trying to keep secrets. If you want to know I will tell you. This way the photo is not just an image. It becomes a medium to bring people together.
